7 Moves To Taut and Sleeveless

Sleeveless fashion is year-round, whether it's the fancy cocktail party, a day at the beach or a 1,000-calorie-bye-bye morning in the gym. Fitness magazine offers 7 Moves for Jiggle-Free Arms, and all you need is you, a jump rope and one or two-pound weights. Here are three I'm trying tonight:- Skip Rope First -- It'll fatigue your arms so you won't need as much weight to lift for real results.
- The Aerobox -- Tone your sleeveless-to-be shoulders by standing and holding a weight in each hand, then bring fists in front of face with palms facing each other. Place left foot six inches forward and right six inches back, punch left fist first, then right, gradually speeding up to a max pace over 60 seconds. Switch feet, repeat. Imagine who you'd like to pummel -- my older brothers -- for added drama.
- No-Gym-Required Floor Pull-Up -- Lie flat on the floor underneath a high, sturdy table. Keeping palms shoulder distance apart and facing in, grasp the table edge, pull yourself up as high as you can, pause, then lower. Repeat for 60 seconds, keeping stomach taut and neck straight for good form. No sturdy table? Lay a broom handle or pole across two chairs a few feet apart instead.
Remember, staying slim is critical for a sleek sleeveless look, but keeping muscles taut will deliver shock 'n awe.
