Put Away Your Stretchy Pants and Have a Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving

We're all for yoga pants and comfy clothing around here. And if you're planning a workout on this fine Thanksgiving day -- good for you, by the way -- we say put on those pants and get to work. But if you're considering sporting some stretchy pants so that you can stuff your face and allow your gut to expand without restraint, we're of a different mindset.Put away those elastic waistbands if you've got evil eating on your mind. OK, so indulging in a turkey feast for this one day isn't so horrible. Still, we want you to be mindful of what you shovel in that face of yours. So why not put on your favorite pair of jeans -- you know, the ones that fit just so. Use them as a guide -- when your tummy starts pushing outward and you think it's time to unbutton that top button or unzip just a bit, then you'll know it's time to put down the fork and come up for air.
It's up to you, of course, how you'll dress for this festive occasion and how you'll proceed as your mouth waters at the delicious dishes lined up before you. We're just saying it's better to be safe than sorry. And a good pair of jeans are a pretty safe fashion statement on diet-derailing holidays.
