Hi Dr. Jonny :) Nice to see a nutritionist on board!
Maybe you can answer a question for me that I've been struggling with.
For a long time, after my 1 hour 550-700 calorie burning exercises, I would drink a Lean Body protein shake to replenish myself. I lost weight, did well, and everything was fine.
However, I read an article that said that a low-fat chocolate milk was a good substitute for high-calorie protein shakes, as it contained the sugars, carbs and protein that your body requires for replenishing after a workout.
What's your take on this? I like that I can get the chocolate milk for so much cheaper. But how many calories/cups should I be having? My protein shake was 260 calories. The chocolate milk I'm having is 200.
Any advice?

i think that info was cleverly put out by the dairy industry and the chocolate milk makers!
Technically they're right, but most commercial milk products are inferior to a well-made whey protein drink.
however, no reason you couldn't do it. I wouldn't worry about the fact that it's 60 calories less, which might even be a benefit.
By the way, I'm not sure where you're getting the 550-700 calorie burning number from- it's awfully high. That 700 number is closer to what an olympic athlete would burn in training! A lot of the machines at the gym don't give accurate readings of how many calories you're burning..
Depending on your overall weight, weight goals, etc. I'd think a plain protein shake in the calorie range of 200-260 would be fine, but you could certainly try the chocolate milk
