If you've ever been to a Whole Foods store, you know why it's referred to as Whole Paycheck.

Prices are high at Whole Foods locations, which is why Dr. Fitness and The Fat Guy offer some tips for getting healthy on the cheap.

First, the guys say there's an upside to steeper prices: They force you to eat less. Not because you want to, though -- just because you can't afford to. To afford your food -- and workouts too -- consider these suggestions: Always go for quality and not quantity when it comes to food, never go shopping when you are hungry, head to restaurants for lunch instead of dinner, opt for cheap workouts like walking and running, and buy refurbished commercial treadmills for your home rather than a new "home" versions.
