Bev,
As a reminder, you and I met at George's Hood's successful bike ride in May of this year. he was trying to regain his world record in spin cycling at the YMCA in Naperville.
My second novel was published in August. "The Call of Angels" is the long-anticipated sequel to my first novel. It pertains to the main character, Robert Hamlin, who is a young man from the suburbs of Chicago who is elected President of the U.S.
The main theme of the book pertains to educating people on the symptoms and severity of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). This is when a blood clot forms in the deep vein of the leg. Complications from blood clots kill more than 200,000 Americans each year.
