As Madonna and Guy call it quits, we wonder: Is her diet to blame?
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Seems Madonna's strict diet and overboard fitness endeavors may have played a part in her impending divorce from hubby Guy Ritchie.
Oh, and the exercise. Yes, the exercise. One recent TV report revealed that she spends half a day toning that body of hers. It shows -- the 50-year-old superstar looks terrific to me. She looks pretty single too, which makes me wonder: Is such a life worth the rigors -- and the consequences? What say you?

GRRRR! It never fails to tick me off when people talk about how fit Madonna is. As a bodybuilding, it's insulting. She is down right anorexic. Anyone who is that thin is going to look somewhat muscular just because there is no fat covering the musculature beneath. She's frail. She would look better if she would actually eat something and lift something heavier than a 3 pound dumbbell.

Her dance moves require a lot of muscle. I'm no judge of whether she's fit or not, and her body just doesn't look good to me, but after seeing her dance, I don't think people can deny that she has to have quite a bit of muscle just to move the way she does.

I don't blame Guy Ritchie for leaving. If Madonna is spending that much time at the gym, on tour, in wraps, in surgery, in practice, in recording studios, etc., then she probably doesn't have any time left to pay attention to Guy Ritchie. He was probably already effectively a widower anyways. My boyfriend only spends 2 hours per day at the gym, but combined with his job, that's already an intrusive amount of time.
I think it's great that Madonna is so into her fitness and her career. I'm sure she can find people who share her goals if that's what she wants. However, not everybody is like that. Some of us want to take our fitness with more moderation, and that's fine too.

Guy knew what he was getting into from the start. He didn't just walk into her life out of the blue. He knew here lifestyle and how much goes into staying on top. I have no love for Madonna, but Guy is just being an unsupportive whiny little bitch.

Yes, we should all be so lucky to look as healthy as Madonna does. Western civilization must really be crumbling.
