You're watching fat and calories, but are you watching sodium levels too? Even "healthy" fast foods can be high in salt.
Think you're doing yourself a favor by eating that fast food salad for lunch? Think again. While it's certainly better than a double cheeseburger, it can still contain far more salt than you really need.
Why is sodium an issue? Because Americans tend to eat way too much of it. In fact, 77% of the sodium we eat comes from processed foods, not by adding salt ourselves. That means you might be eating too much salt and not even realizing it.
