10 ways to enjoy soy
Categories: Alternative & Green Health, Nutrition & Supplements
Soy is slowly starting to get the attention it deserves in North America, and it's about time. Soy products have long been a staple in Eastern cultures. Soy-based foods are beneficial to health as they've been linked to lowered cholesterol levels. In addition to their inherent benefits, soy products can also replace other foods -- such as meat and dairy -- which can contribute to higher cholesterol. Soy products can also promote bone health and have been linked to a lowered risk of certain cancers.
Are you still not sure if soy is for you? Healthcastle has 10 painless ways to incorporate more soy in your diet. Check out the gallery for some suggestions.

Wow, I totally disagree.
Soy is NOT healthy eaten in mass doses and fermented soy (tofu, tempeh, etc) is better- but still in small quantities.
I would caution those who want to eat more soy to do your research before you start eating tons of it.
Asian cultures eat small amounts of fermented soy. They do not eat veggie burgers, soy chicken, soy sausage, soy hot dogs, etc.
There was an article on this very blog about it 29 days ago...

In response to the previous comment- there is so much misinformation and pseudo science floating around out there over soy. A lot of it is generated by organizations that have a vested interest in its use, like the meat and dairy industries. Don't continue to spread misinformation for people trying to make healthy choices. No one is suggesting you make the entirety of your diet processed soy products; don't incorrectly demonize it. Soy milk or a veggie burger are healthy alternatives to cow's milk and a cheeseburger. And don't kid yourself- those products are significantly more of a health risk than soy will ever be.
