Actress, singer, and Dreamgirl extraordinaire Jennifer Hudson tells Essence magazine that she has a dream: She'd love to work out all day, every day.
Hudson's dream will likely never come true -- the girl is just too involved to put all her eggs in the workout basket. But she does find a way to incorporate exercise into her busy routine. Her favorite activities: Jogging and walking 23 flights of stairs in her building instead of taking the elevator. Sounds like a pretty good approach -- Hudson has transformed her busy body from a size 22 to a size 12.

She's not a size 12, she only wishes! I saw her on The View recently and she's probably a size 16/18. How do I know that? Because I'm a size 16/18. Props to her losing weight and going from a 22 to a smaller size, but can't possibly be a size 12.

I agree. I love her, but she is no size 12. She looked as big to me as she did on Dreamgirls. Who is she kidding?

As someone who worked in TV for years, I hope it's not news to any of you but it is true that the camera puts on about 10 pounds. And I think that some of you are just cruel and unhappy by saying such mean things. Grow up. Try to like yourself more. And she's a beautiful, talented girl no matter what size. If you can sing like she can, you can be a size 50.

Don't forget, expensive clothes use smaller numbers when sizing their outfits. What is a 16 at Sears could be a 12 at Macy's.

Somebody doesn't know how the whole dress sizing thing works. If, and I say that with trepidation, she is a size 12, she would have dropped down 5 sizes if she was wearing a 22.
Still, I am happy for anyone that looses weight, because I haven't managed that yet. Also, if she is into exercising, she will do good.

Her breasts are larger, which could make her appear to be a larger size than she really is. She looks amazing, whichever size she is.

She's not a size 12. I saw her recently and she's as least as big as she was during the filming of Dreamgirls.

she makes no sense to me. She always seems so FOS. If she lloooovvvveeedddd to workout THAT much, why would she be overweight? EVERYONE can fit something in. Something. Eat right and do some of that working out you supposedly love so much.
Sheesh

Maybe she actually likes having curves, as opposed to being built like a 10-year-old boy. Maybe SHE doesn't thinks she's fat.
Sheesh

cheryl...Is a size 12 still fat if you are 5 ft 10? I think not. And where do you even get that idea? Not all women were built the same but they are all still beautiful, even if they do not fit into your Hollywood idea of what we should look like. Some women are a size twelve and not fat at all. Think before you type and the world will be a better place.

Wow...you are such a judgemental bitch. You try to lose that much weight then still be called fat. I don't think you'd appreciate that too much. So just shut your mouth and keep your opinions to yourself. Congratulations Jennifer, way to go.
christy 10-16-2008 @ 3:53PM
cheryl, a size 12 is beautiful.
you are porbably one of those arrgant aneroxic looking bitches.
so how about you go eat.
you wish you were as beautiful as a size 12.
naya 10-16-2008 @ 5:32PM
You know what she probably looks better than you. You probably envy her curves. She may never be skinny but you know what as long as she takes care of herself is what matters. It is people like you that cause people to hate themselves with your negative comments. Just congratulate her that she is putting the effort to be healthy. So evil!! I can truly tell you are a female.
zystacy17 10-16-2008 @ 2:21PM
Sorry sister, no way you are a size 12!!! Maybe in your bra! I am a size 8, so if she is a 12, I must really be a 4!! Get over yourself, real women int he real world can tell you are no size 12!

There are many frustrated people out there saying what didn't work on their diets, while seeking to lose weight. Be aware that diet is 80% of the battle and exercise is only 20%. Fact is the food you eat will either make you lose or gain weight. Actually if you "eat smaller meals" and "eat the right foods", you can "eat more and lose more weight"!.

The headline on AOL states she dropped 10 sizes. Even if she dropped from a 22 to a 12 that wouldn't be 10 sizes. She would have dropped 20, 18, 16, & 14. How does that count as 10 sizes? Even if you counted the odd numbers in between that would only be 7 sizes.

Why does everyone have to have suc negative comments.
She says that she is eating less and moving more. Isn't that how it's supposed to be done. We spend so much time mocking her current success(there is no way she is a size 12, if she loved the gym that much she never would have been over weight). Why not just say conrats on your current success, wish her well on continued success and keep it up till you reach your goal?
Why are we always so critical of even moderate success? Especially surrounding weight loss?

How in the hell do any of you know that this woman is not a size 12? Did you check her clothes ? people are different shapes and sizes, just because she doesn't look like it to you but just maybe she is a 12. It has been people that looked like a bigger size and they weren't. plus when your on tv you look bigger than you really are

Your all just a bunch of miserable people who have nothing better to do than say bad thing about someone because she is more successful than you are. Weight loss is a hard thing to over come and props to her for trying. Even if she lost 2 pounds, there is no reson to turn your nose up at her.
