Take a really long and hot shower, so by the time I am out, I am tired and just feel like passing out.

My husband falls asleep immediately, so I spend the next hour shaking the bed to make him stop snoring. Somewhere in there I finally fall asleep!

Even when exhausted, I can't sleep unless I've read at least one page of something - sometimes a book, sometimes a magazine, never the news - and flossed while doing so. I'm a little weird about the flossing - a dentist said something that terrified me a few years back, so now if I close my eyes without flossing, they pop back open a few seconds later, and I can't sleep til I've flossed.
Yes, I know I'm weird. But my teeth are healthy!

My quirk for falling asleep is that I need to have a pillow on top of me. It used to be that it had to be over my head like literally over my face! But still I need a 2nd pillow to fall asleep quicker!

I have to read before I fall asleep. It's a habit I picked up when I was really young, so now if I don't read, I can't sleep!

Strangely, drinking hot tea before bed helps me sleep!

I need to have the TV or radio on in the background - I can't fall asleep in silence!

I have to read and have a fan on when I fall asleep, even if it is below 0.

It sounds weird, but I think of a sapphire-colored circle (nothing else) and it sends me off to dreamland. Sapphire makes me feel secure, and circles don't have edges, so it's the perfect calming shape. Works every night! :)

I read every night before going to sleep, it shuts my brain down from the day.

I have a cup of hot herbal tea right before bed. The room also needs to be a little cool so I can cozy up in the sheets. I can't sleep without something even just a thin sheet on top of me.

I have to start off on my back, with one leg bent and one hand by my face. After I fall asleep, all bets are off!

I usually spend about 20 minutes flipping before I get to sleep.
In this 20 minutes, I put my cold feet on my boyfriend, he steals my pillow, I steal it back, I worry about EVERYTHING, and eventually I fall asleep.

I have to have a fan running to fall asleep. The white noise is perfect. Except that now when I visit someone or stay in a hotel, I can't fall asleep!

I sleep talk when I sleep! My roommate makes fun of me but it's good for a laugh.

I actually think to myself "I need to stay awake for 5 more minutes" if I'm having trouble falling asleep. For some reason that knocks me out.
