Daily Fit Tip: Try a new vegetable

It's easy to get stuck in a rut, eating the same foods day in and day out. But variety, as they say, is the spice of life.
Even if your meals are filled with nutritious foods, it's still a great idea to expand your diet and try something new. Take a walk through the produce section of your local grocery store or visit a farmer's market. You're sure to see something you've never before tried. It might be broccoli rabe, parsnips, or an artichoke.
Make your purchase, then spend a few minutes researching how to cook it online. There are plenty of sites out there with recipes, so just putting the name of your new food into a search engine will get you started. Who knows, maybe you'll have a new favorite food, and the vitamins and minerals you'll get from a more varied diet will boost your health, too.
