If you can do 12 reps of a move with perfect form for two workouts, you can try increasing the amount you're lifting.
- Get a reminder. Sign up for a program or support group that offers email messages. Little reminders can do wonders for your fitness routine.
- Take it slow. Don't race through your strength training routine. It's better to take it slow and concentrate on having good form.
- Be efficient. If you don't have a lot of time, you can still get a great workout. Include bursts of intense cardio with your strength training routine.
- Check yourself out. Stand in front of a mirror when strength training -- it's a great way to ensure you're using proper form.
