Sore muscles from running? Know what might help? Warming up your muscles before the run -- literally. Here's how.

The ladies over at Fitsguar recommend warming your muscles up by taking a hot shower before you run. I know, it seems counter-intuitive to shower before you run, but apparently, it can help loosen things up before you put your body to the test in cold weather. You can also try doing some gentle leg stretches in the shower. A five-minute hot shower should do the trick.

My only problem with this method? Warm showers make me sleepy. You too? Don't give yourself the chance to sit down after the shower -- get into your gear right away and head out the door.
