Day 5: Do you know what I miss? Tortilla chips. My husband and I have a raging salsa/hummus and tortilla chip addiction. Only my rule this week is that I must have at least nine servings of fruits and veggies before I can indulge. By evening, I'm too full for a bedtime snack. I realize this is a good thing! I'm getting full on the right kind of stuff, but still ... I miss my treat. Tonight, I cheated just a little and had a handful. They tasted
delicious but far too salty and I could only eat a few. I'm pleased by this, because in the long run, I'd like to enjoy a handful of tortilla chips now and then as a
treat, not as a several-nights-a-week binge.
