Blackberries destroy cancer in your genes
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Alternative & Green Health, Nutrition & Supplements
We know they are chock-full of antioxidants and other valuable nutrients, but did you know that research has shown that black raspberries can actually alter your genes?
In animal studies, genes that were altered with cancer were returned to normal when black raspberry powder was consumed.
OK people, that's huge! Why aren't you eating black raspberries all the time, every day, at each meal? I jest, because we can't jump on every medical study bandwagon and eat multitudes of foods that are good for us.
Moderation and variety are the key to a healthy lifestyle, but when whole foods are proven to fight cancer, it is worth noting, and worth adding those foods to part of a healthy diet if they aren't something you eat frequently.

You need to change the title of your blog, blackberries and black raspberries are two different types of fruit. The study is specifically pointing out black raspberries, but it also comments on other good-for-you berries as well (blackberries among them).
Just remember to get your fruit in everyone.

I was wondering what the differences between blackberries and black raspberries were! I found this site to be helpful if you have a bunch of bushes at home and you're not sure what kind it is.
