Gordon Ramsay hates vegetarians
Categories: Celebs & Entertainment
Ever wondered what Gordon Ramsay's biggest nightmare is? Well, you don't have to anymore-- In a recent interview, Ramsay revealed: 'My biggest nightmare would be if the kids ever came up to me and said "Dad, I'm a vegetarian." Then I would sit them on the fence and electrocute them."
This is just the latest of Ramsay's verbal assaults on vegetarians, according to The Daily Mail, and he's not winning any popularity contests because of it. But as the article points out, he's so adamantly against vegetarianism that he actually convinced 50 vegetarians to try veal.
I can't even pretend to understand where Ramsay is coming from -- if you ask me, being a vegetarian is not only a healthy lifestyle choice but a delicious one too.

For him to say the things he has about vegetarians just shows that he is a loser. If his kid became one, it would be proof that the kid was smarter than him.

Well, I am sure that part of what (or at least how) he says is all part of his "image" of being that tough, mean guy. As a chef, he likely knows that there are a number of "tasty" vegetarian dishes, but he also knows (and is correct!) that there are an even greater number of amazing (notice no quotes) dishes that incorporate meat. Mmm... veal, I wonder if I can get that at lunch.

What people eat is a personal choice. I think that people change their preferences through life. This, to me is a result of what your body is telling you it needs.

I think it just shows his passion for what he does. He has that in your face image to uphold which is probaly why he says it the way he does. Isn't his whole show about competing chefs that he cusses out and humiliates?
