Bottled water myths EXPOSED!
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Alternative & Green Health, Nutrition & Supplements
I've been carrying my reusable water bottle around with me for quite some time now. I fill a pitcher with tap water and keep it in my refrigerator so I always have nice, cold water, and I really try to do my best to avoid drinking bottled water. However, a lot of people stick almost exclusively to water from a little plastic bottle, and while there are a multitude of reasons for this, a lot of these reasons don't have much basis in fact.
Marie Claire recently exposed six of the most common bottled water myths -- even if you're not a bottled water devotee, some of these busted myths might surprise you.

You have to hand it to the bottled water industry that have sold their product to America. It's like selling ice to eskimos and they succeeded.

Thank you for this!
I drink tap water, in a place where nobody seems to. One of my friends even told me the other day that the local water would kill me because there are lots of "toxins" in the water. Well, if it's so dangerous, I want to know why, so I asked. NO ONE can give me any specifics and tell me why the tap water is apparently so dangerous, so I'm still drinking it. And going to, until someone shows me why I shouldn't!
My water is almost free, with little environmental impact; there's costs lots of money, comes in plastic bottles which may or may not be recycled, and gets transported from all over the country. Who's killing what?
