Jerry on the run for Rebecca's cravings
Jerry O'Connell isn't just running races lately -- he ran Sunday in the 6.2-mile Nike + Human Race in Los Angeles. He's also on the run for wife Rebecca Romijn whose pregnancy cravings have him plenty busy.
Lemonade and soy cream cheese -- do you know how hard it is to find soy cream cheese, says O'Connell -- are tops on Romijn's list of must-have foods. Ah, food. Everything centers around food.
"Meals are not missed," jokes O'Connell. "We promptly hit them and if we're a little late, then ... somebody's not happy."
What did this dad in training -- twin girls are on the way -- do to prep himself for the L.A. 10K? He didn't hire a trainer. He just went running solo. O'Connell tells others: "If you want to get in shape, I highly suggest jumping into a race like this. It forces you to get out of bed in the morning and really motivates you."

I 'm not a star, but a mother of 3 that recently lost a lot of weight. My best tip is to eat Breakfast! I feel it helps me to make smarter decisions all day. If I don't eat breakfast as I want to save calories, I usually end up pigging out later in the day and making poor food choices. I also think that flax seeds are huge in helping with weight loss. I find that cereal is not as filling as flax and yogurt.
I have the same breakfast every day. I recently lost 30 pounds following the weight watchers program http://www.weightwatchers.com and I now just am more watchful every day of what I eat. I have a
banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous. My Weight Watchers leader
recommended fitflax to me and it definitely helped the last 10 pounds to melt off. It is a flax and chia blend and I think I read about it in O mag. They also listed a code to get 15% off. The site is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 15% off is FIT15

Running is great, and I actually have had fitflax and find it tasty...kinda tastes like sesame seeds I think working out is very important both for helping with weight loss and for reducing stress. You can't eat whatever you want and just work out though. You need to watch calories too. I hurt my knee running and now just make an effort to walk a lot. I read about smartsoles on that flax site.... Has anyone here tried them? I would love to burn more calories with every step.
