There are certain times of year that make it easy to start fresh with new habits. Fall is one of them.New Year's resolutions are pretty common, but what about new school year resolutions? Fall means changing schedules and a new routine, so why not take the opportunity to refresh your dedication to healthy habits?

When planning a new school routine, make sure to schedule time for daily workouts or to add a new element to your fitness routine. Plan healthy meals that you can make in a hurry, and while you're making nutritious lunches for the kids, pack a healthy mid-day meal for yourself to avoid eating out at lunch time.

Earlier wake up times may require an earlier bedtime, so make sure that you're getting enough sleep. Taking care of yourself physically and mentally will give you extra energy for the more structured school year and help you stay fit and healthy for life.
