When it comes to weight loss, slow and steady wins the race. But what do you do if you only have a week to squeeze into your thin jeans?

When you want to lose weight, it's best to drop the pounds slowly. According to the National Weight Control Registry, the majority of people who have lost weight and kept it off shed their pounds slowly and steadily.

That's all well and good, but what do you do when you have a big event or a big date that you want to shed a few extra pounds for. Ladies? Who hasn't bought a dress is a size too small, promising ourselves we'd fit into it by that big date? And guys? I'm sure you have pieces of clothing that you long to fit back into as well.
