If you live in running shoes, there are a number of rules you need to know.
According to Fitsugar, there are some 'shoe rules' you should be aware of to protect your feet and keep them comfortable:
- When you buy shoes, there should be a thumbs width between your toes and the front of the shoe. Any more? Your shoes are too big. Any less? They're too small.
- To prevent blisters, you should wear a thin pair of wicking socks. Avoid cotton socks and socks that are too cushioned, and never go without them.
- Invest in a new pair of shoes every 350 miles.
