125 best packaged foods
Categories: Nutrition & Supplements
I'm a sucker for packaged foods, especially those of a carb persuasion. Give me a box of crackers and I'm one happy camper. Fortunately, fruit also makes me happy and I've learned to stock my kitchen with the fresh stuff more often than I opt for my favorite box of Wheat Thins. Oh, how I wish that yellow box was healthier than it is, though.
Women's Health says there are some healthy packaged foods out there. While they still are not as perfect as fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein -- you know the drill -- here are some picks for you package people out there. Pre packaged foods can be very healthy! I am a personal trainer and love the 100 calorie packs as they are great as far as portion control. I just wish they made them with less sodium. Nabisco makes a lot of good ones http://www.nabiscoworld.com
I also recommend flax which is great for skin, diet and overall health! I recommend that my clients have
low fat yogurt (banana axelrod is fabulous) with flax for breakfast and have found that for me and them the weight has melted off. I LOVE fitflax http://www.fitflax.com It is golden roasted flax with
chia that does need to be ground and you can eat straight from the
bag. It is low carb/low cal and tastes like peanut butter. I give
my clients a code for 15% off which is FIT15
I am also a fan of drinking water. If you don't like water, tote a
water bottle with a lemon juice, splenda water mis and try to take in
48 oz. It helps make you feel full!

I Love fitflax too, I read about it in O mag. It tastes great and I lost
25 pounds. I throw it on salad and it is delicious. I sometimes just
eat it from the bag. It also made my skin look great and keeps me
"regular"

I bought fitflax at SmartThingz http://www.smartthingz.com. I also bought a pair of anti-cellulite insoles from them. I used the code smart15 and saved 15%. I did not know about the fitflax code. Thanks!

Some of these food contain soy lecithin, high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenized fats, all of which are bad for you no matter what the other parts of the ingredients are. Irresponsible journalism here.

I don't know...a lot of these seem to have a lot of chemicals, artificial sweeteners, etc.
