No more plastic surgery for this D-lister

Funny lady Kathy Griffin makes no joke about the fact that she's had plastic surgery. The 47-year-old also makes no joke about her recent proclamation that she will never again go under the knife.

The star of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List tells Fitness magazine that surgery never made her any happier, didn't make her look younger, and didn't help her get any jobs. And guess what, she says: "No one expected me to come out in a bikini anyway."

Griffin's new body-image plan: To learn to live with the normal fluctuations in her weight.

I don't like her that much since she's not that funny just obnoxious but at least she was honest. It didn't work in any way shape or form for her career or her period. Maybe some of these other plastic surgeon addicts should see it isn't working for their careers either.

I love her, I think she is hilarious. Her show is probably one of the few on TV that I actually find myself laughing out loud. My 21 year old son loves it, and my Mom loves it. I wish I was as quick witted as she is. Never a dull moment.

It can be argued that she got the D-List show because of her new face I guess. It seems to me that people with plastic surgery all end up looking so similar, it kind of defeats the purpose. I mean, tight, leathery-looking skin, the same nose and high cheekbones, squared chins, and high foreheads are quite "in" apparently. At least people looked different once upon a time. There's something to be said for the beauty of being unique at the very least.

I'm guessing from Kathy's comments, she had a tummy tuck, nothing done on the face. I'll give her another 10 years and she'll probably have changed her mind about going under the knife again.

Hey, let's face it. She looks better than most 47-year-old's who haven't gone under the knife. In fact, her surgeon did a better job than most. If she's happy now-- then that's great. Elective surgery is something only the recipient can decide upon. It's THEIR right, and their choice. If people don't agree, then don't have it done.
