One hundred push-ups challenge -- I'm doing it. Are you?
Categories: Fitness

The program is designed to help anyone reach a goal of doing 100 consecutive push-ups. I mean, I can do 100, but it's broken down into five or six (or more) sets. It lasts six weeks, and you do a push-up workout three times a week. Shoot, I can do that. I can do that so well that I'm making my husband do it with me.
Anyway, we started yesterday, and at the beginning of this, I was able to do 40 in a row. I'll keep you up to date on my progress. If anyone else out there is joining in the fun (and I hope you'll consider doing so), I'd love to hear from you -- drop a comment and let me know!

Welcome to the challenge! I'm on week 5 now, and let me tell you, this program is amazing! I've more than doubled the maximum number of pushups I can do before falling down noodle armed! Good luck with it!

After 40, I just get bored with doing them, so I stop for a while, drop back down, and then work my way back up until I get to the same point where doing so many repetitions is... well... repetitious / monotonous.

Add to the intensity by doing pushups with your hands on a stability ball. Or put your legs on a stability ball and hands on an upside down bosu ball.
When it comes to your health it's always better to get an assessment to discover what your body needs, rather than blindly taking supplements you think you need. You know your lifestyle demands, but not your body's DNA. Once you know what your DNA needs, you'll never have to guess again. Watch what was recently on Fox news regarding vitamins. http://youtube.com/watch?v=s-b53iFKe_s
What if I told you there was an affordable way to have an organic nutritional product custom made for you according to your DNA, would you be interested? Go to this site to find out how it's possible. http://www.mygenewize.com/carpenter and click on Join Now. Contact me with any questions.

I'm doing the program too! http://leth-gourmet.blogspot.com/2008/07/one-hundred-pushups-program.html
I'm in week two right now, and it's definitely hard. I think I may be doing them slightly wrong because I have a little lower back pain, so I really have to pay attention to that.

I am also doing the challenge and I am pretty into it (as in I am scouring the web to find others doing it!).
Here is my progress so far, just finished week 1:

Good to see other people doing the challenge.
Here’s my progress. I’ve been stuck on week 5 due to time constraints, an almost non existent sleep schedule, and just plain being tired from biking and running.
