Daily Fit Tip. DON'T make the bed
Seriously. A made bed is a haven for dust mites, according to this post on Fitsugar. An unmade bed? Not so much. it all comes down to moisture. Dust mites needs 50% or more humidity to thrive, and when you make the bed, it traps moisture, allowing the mites to thrive. An unmade bed, on the other hand, allows enough air to reach your sheets, meaning it can dry up any humidity in the sheets.
So go ahead, be a bit messy and give yourself a break from making the bed!
