That really is too few calories to help with any long-term, real, lasting weight loss. It might work in a pinch, but the minute you get off that plan, it's all going to come back.

That certainly isn't enough calories to sustain an exercise plan. I thought this blog was called "thatsfit," not "thats-the-way-to-drop-a-few-pounds-quickly-with-no-lasting-benefits-and-no-consideration-given-to-fitness." Enough with the crappy AOL advice.

Is my math off, or is that only 1300 calories or so? There is no way I could last very long on that. Who are these people who only need 1300 calories to live and be healthy? I guess maybe if you are literally sitting on your butt watching TV all day, but just the thought of eating that little makes me really, really cranky.
I just don't think this is good healthy advice for very many people.

That is a ridiculously low amount of calories, and nobody should do that diet without first consulting with their doctor (who will most likely say no)

That's about all I eat in a day, and I'm quite obese. Following this plan might work for a few weeks, but you're losing nothing but water weight. After a while, it'll slow your metabolism down, and that's the last thing you'll want.
Believe me, it's no good.
