Fit Links: Get out your bike!
As fabulous as we at That's Fit think this blog is, the truth is there are hundreds of wonderful blogs on healthy living to be seen all over the blogosphere. So in this feature, Fit Links, we'll introduce you to some that have caught our eye.According to Crabby at Cranky Fitness, you may have a condition known as Bike in the Basement disorder if:
- you are still able to ride a bike,
- you have access to a bike,
- you live in a bike-friendly neighborhood,
- AND
- you still never ride your bike.
The ABCs of cycling has 26 tips for getting you back on your bike, while Bike to Work Week (which starts May 12th) celebrates the art of getting to work safely on two wheels. Finally, BikeHacks can help you customize your bike to suit your needs -- whether it be just for fun, for fitness, or even for commuting.

Thanks Bethany!
I was afflicted with Bicycle in the Basement Disorder for years and years. But now that I've finally gotten the bike fixed and started to ride it around again-- I'm totally loving it! I don't know why I waited so long.
Plus, when you whiz by cars stuck in traffic and don't have to fight for a parking place (not to mention burning calories and building up your quads while you do your errands), you get to feel so smug! And I love to feel smug.
