Remove cellulite with Kinoki Foot Pads? Hmmm ...
Kinoki Detox Foot Pads claim to remove your cellulite through a pad you tape to the bottom of your foot while you sleep. When you awaken, it will be covered with icky brown junk -- these are the toxins your body needs to eliminate (apparently in the same way a tree eliminates toxins through its roots). In addition to removing cellulite, they are supposed to cure headaches, depression, and insomnia by helping your body detox through "Kinoki's Natural Power of Nature."I'm not convinced. Not at all.
While there might be some merit in the ancient Japanese (or Chinese, depending on whether you're watching the infomercial or reading the website) secrets upon which these are based, they're not going to remove cellulite. This is one product I won't be spending my hard-earned cash on -- I'd rather use it toward a new set of running shoes or a healthy meal, both of which are more likely to yield real results.

I just read an article where they had a similar item- a foot soak- and it turned brown, removing toxins. But it did the same thing to an organic carrot....

20/20 did test. Those pads do nothing. The brown stuff you see is powered vinegar that turns brown from your owns body sweat. Total scam!

You know what I hate? When you click on a link thinking that it's going to be a story something like what was in the teaser and it turns out to be something like this.

I have actually purchased kinoki foot pads, and they really do work on your feet. I haven't tried them on my butt though, lol!!! I think it does work because the fatty layer of skin is vary manipulative. Other natural ways to get rid of cellulite are making paste out of water and Instant Coffee, spreading it on and walking around your house for an hour then washing it off...do it for a week and your cellulite is like gone. It temporarily puffs up the fatty tissue with oxygen, making the dimples less niticable and increasing cirulatoin. Try both, i dare you!

Never say never!! This is how detox works. When toxins enter your body, fat tissues surround them, like a protective shield. So when you detox, (use the pads on feet or soak in foot detox), the toxins leave the body, and the fat that was protecting it has no purpose any longer, and therefore, leaves the body through elimination, leading to cellulite elimination. If you do this on a regular basis, you will see a difference!

They don't work. You think they do because of the brown stuff. It just has stuff inside them that turn that color with your body heat and moisture...another scam to rip off the American public. Oh, and those of you who believe in it...well, they now sell something called magic water, check it out. @@

Those things are a scam! 20/20 did a special on them and they have woodchips in them so that the pads turn brown no matter what type of moisture gets on them. they also did chemical analysis on peoples used pads and absolutely no toxins were found in ANY of the pads, furthermore the people that tested them said that they left a smelly residue on their bodies and sheets and they felt no better than before they began using the pads. i wanted to try them also until i saw the 20/20 special about a month ago on tv.

OK.....First off the kindeys and liver expel toxins not the pads of your feet. The only thing your body pores expel is salt and water (sweat). And correct me if I'm wrong , but aren't toxins microscopic, or at least pretty small ! Seems to me that if you had this much toxin, as these pads show, you woild be pretty darn sick......Anyway, thats my opinion not yours..................Jerry

These were exposed as fakes on 20/20. When you add water to the pad it turns black, so any moisture does it. No toxins found afterwards.

IT WAS ON THE NEWS THAT THESE FOOT PADS ARE A FRAUD. THE MOISTURE FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR FOOT, JUST A FEW DROPS OF WATER WILL CAUSE THE PADS TO TURN THAT YUKKY COLOR.
IT'S JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR SOMEONE TO GET RICH, STOP BEING SO STUPID.... SAVE YOUR MONEY.

A hundred years ago they did this with salt mackerel, to cure yellow fever. Well, SOME people got well, but others didn't. Compared to the control population--that is, the people who didn't wear salt mackerel on their feet--there seems to be no difference in the percentage of people who recovered and people who died.

2 YoungGigi: WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO "Puff Up" their cellulite??? I thought the idea was to Depuff it, & get a toned & trim kind of look..! & How in the world does instant coffee w/H20 'oxygenate' the fatty tissue below the skin? IF this worked, salons would be offering this treatment around the world. Now if anyone wants to try Suddenly Slimmer, which I've experienced a few times, THAT works, but only for a few days...
