Running extras needed for Running America documentary

Ultrarunners Charlie Engle and Marshall Ulrich are stepping off on June 15 on a 3,200-mile cross-country trek from San Francisco to New York. They're attemping to finish in a 45-day flash to break the world record, introduce real America to the world and raise money for the H2O Africa charity. Intentions aside, we're talking running nearly three marathons a day. Just writing that last sentence triggered a rapid depletion of my glycogen stores -- I'm near-bonking.
One interesting twist of this historic attempt is the film crew tagging along. NEHST Studios is filming a documentary of the adventure entitled Running America. Wanna run with Engle and Ulrich? NEHST is casting 15,000 runners to run one historic mile with the superstars. Their website clearly states this is an equal opportunity casting call -- anyone can apply -- never-joggers, people with disabilities, younger ones still requiring babysitters or older folks collecting Social Security.
Celebrity runners will be announced shortly, so if you want your mug in front of the camera and a chance to rub elbows with a hot star and support the supermen for a mile, send in your audition pics and/or upload personal video (fee applies). You may just become an ultrarunning movie star.
