Name: Alexandra Harris

Age: 51

Occupation: Life Coach

How often do you exercise? I eat seven days a week, and I exercise seven days a week!

What type of exercise do you do? Power walking, light weight training (for muscle tone), and yoga (for balance, flexibility, and occasionally turning my organs upside down). I think there's something really healthy about moving your organs around!

What gets you to workout, even when you're feeling lazy? I remind myself that the times I didn't want to work out, and I did it anyway... I never wished I hadn't.

What's on your MP3 player? Madonna, Rihanna, Shakira, Bon Jovi, Maroon Five

Favorite healthy food? Plain yogurt with fresh blueberries

Favorite not-so-healthy food? Crispy French fries

Greatest fitness accomplishment? A. When people meet me they are surprised to find that I am 51 years old and have four college-aged children. B. My body confidence helped me "feel unstoppable" and I stepped up to the physical challenge of a Fire walk!

Best fitness advice? A. Every time I eat hold up four fingers – I eat a protein, a good carb, a good fat, and drink water. I give my body ALL the fuels it needs, every time I eat. And I eat three meals, two snacks each day. B. If I'm hungry after I've finished eating, I pop a piece of bubble gum into my mouth! There is a hormone that is secreted when you begin to eat to let your body know it is OK to not feel hungry & it takes about 20 minutes to fully saturate the system. So, if I'm still hungry just after I've finished my meal, I satisfy my chewing needs with bubble gum and soon I feel the natural fullness activated by the hormone.
