How Many Calories ... in a turkey burger from Ruby Tuesday?

Turkey Burgers are a much more diet-friendly that traditional burgers. Well, at least that's what most of us believe. While it's true that turkey meat is leaner than beef, poultry still has a fair amount of saturated fat. And there's more to a burger than it's meat--there's the bun and the add-ons to consider too.
So here's an interesting question for you:
The answer is 1145 calories, 71 g of fat. In this case, turkey burgers are definitely not the diet-friendly choice. The Bella has swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms, which no doubt pack a calorie punch. Ditch the add-ons by opting for the regular turkey burger and you're looking at 812 calories, which is still pretty high, if you ask me. Keep in mind, that's before you take into account the side dish!
A better suggestion? Don't get a burger at all. Try the 9-oz sirloin (256 cal, 5 g of fat,) the Asian Glazed Salmon (425 cal, 27 g of fat,) or the Chicken Fresco (469 cal, 23 g of fat) with veggies on the side. Or? Eat at home.
