Life Fit Chat with Laura Lewis: 8 Signs He Is Mr. Wrong
Life Fit Chat with That's Fit Life Fit Expert Laura Lewis brings conversation provoking tidbits to your table, served up with a touch of spice! Byte-sized information that pack some punch, brought to you every Wednesday and Thursday! So you think you have met Mr. Right? Think again. If your Mr. Right meets the following criteria ... run.
8 Signs He Is Mr. Wrong
1. The No Show. In the world of text messages, ichats, blackberries and iphones, there is simply no excuse for a no show. Period. Unless you know him really, really well (like since birth), don't give this guy a second chance. Heck, don't even answer his call!
2. The Jealous Type. Don't be flattered by a guy who expresses a sense of over-protectiveness ... that is just jealousy dressed up. Jealousy should never be taken as flattering because it has nothing to do with you. Jealousy is all about the other person's insecurities and sense of self-worth. Jealousy can lead to some seriously dangerous behavior. If your guy gets angry if the waiter shows you some extra attention ... move on.
3. The Big Bully. All too often people end up in relationships because the person doing the pursuing is just so persistent or intimidating. If a guy is putting on too much of a chase, call the game off. No one needs a man who thinks he deserves to call all the shots. When you feel like you might be being bullied, you are.
4. The Cheater. Life is too short to share your man. If your guy has enough love to go around, let him share it with someone else. You deserve better. Unless, your into sharing!
5. The Free Loader. Unless you are the type of gal that is interested in finding a sugar daddy (think Anna Nicole), don't open yourself up to being someone's sugar momma. If your guy is moving his things in on the third date and subleasing his apartment by the end of the month, this is a real good sign you just got yourself a kid ... not a partner.
6. The Betrayed. Sad as is to say, when someone has been cheated on they become highly suspect in their other relationships. If your guy has been betrayed, he will expect the same from you. All your friends, male and female, will be put under the microscope.
7. The Narcissist. He hates your dog, your cat, your fish, your kid, your best friend, and your parents. Basically, he hates everyone that you love with the exception of himself. Ummm. Next ...
8. The Belitter. This is the guy who has to feel better than you. Your job is "just for fun." Your hobby is "your little project." Your books are chic lit and your politics are cute. This guy is a belitter, and he does not respect you.
Guys, all of the above are completely applicable to women as well. Whether you are a man or a woman, if you are not experiencing a relationship of mutual respect, mutual pleasure and mutual commitment, you need to reevaluate your relationship and the reasons why you are currently in it. And make some changes!
