Paul McCartney's health is A-OK

Some people are apparently worried that Paul McCartney's health is in jeopardy due to a heart irregularity that first presented itself more than a year ago.

The 65-year-old writes on his website: "I'm happy to say that I feel great and I have passed my most recent medical [exam] with flying colours."

It seems the media recently reported an exaggerated version of McCartney's health status.

"The media reports have, as usual, completely distorted the story, calling it an angioplasty, which is entirely untrue, and this is why so many friends have been concerned about my health," he says.

So all is well with the former Beatle who says, ""I look forward to a rocking 2008!"
