Occupation: Dental Office Manager & single mom
How often do you exercise? Five times per week.
What type of exercise do you do? Aerobics, walking, jogging, hiking, bike riding, weight lifting, and most recently added to my routine, yoga. I love it!
What gets you to workout, even when you're feeling lazy: I think about how great I feel after a workout. The energy boost it gives me is great, but knowing that I'm taking care of myself is all the motivation I need to stay on track.
What's on your MP3 player? Aerosmith, Great White, Guns & Roses and Bon Jovi.
Favorite healthy food? Grilled fish or chicken, veggies, and fresh fruit of any kind.
Favorite not-so-healthy food?
Greatest fitness accomplishment? That is coming up this October: 2008 Chicago Marathon!
Best fitness advise? Stay focused on your long-term goal. Take it one step at a time and make it a lifestyle, not a diet. You have this ONE body - take care of it and it will take care of you.
