Fitzness Fiends is a section devoted to you, the reader! We all have learned so much on our path to becoming more fit, and now it's time to learn from and inspire each other! Fitzness Fiends are constantly working to better themselves. Some are perfect, some are not. All have health on the mind. Please send Fitz your answers to these questions with a photo of yourself. Time for you to be the motivator!

Name: Russell Hay

Age: 30

Occupation: Software Engineer

How often do you exercise? Three to four days a week.

What type of exercise do you do? Trapeze (& other aerial arts like Rope and Silk), Yoga, Acrobatics and Acrobalance

What gets you to workout, even when you're feeling lazy? The best motivation is when I'm training for a performance, because I have an end goal. When I'm feeling super lazy, I still go because I know I'll get energy after our yoga warm up.

What's on your MP3 player? I have a shuffle so it changes constantly. Probably The Decemberists, Flogging Molly, and The Across the Universe Soundtrack

Favorite healthy food? Broccoli. Hands down the best food ever.

Favorite not-so-healthy food? Teriyaki (the normal servings they sell are upwards of 1000 calories, but it's SOOOO good!)

Greatest fitness accomplishment? I've lost and managed to keep off 30 pounds for about 2 years ago. I still have about 10 left to lose, but I'm happy with having not gained any significant weight in 2 years.

Best fitness advice? Find something you love to do and do it. For me, I have to constantly change what my current crazy obsession is every so often. I used to row, I used to run, and now I hang from rope and do neat tricks. It's all about finding something to be passion about.

Are you a Fitzness Fiend?

Daily Fit Tip

The human foot wasn't designed for shoes, and believe it or not most of the shoes we wear (even the athletic ones!) are actually doing more harm than good....
