Ibuprofen may reduce effect of aspirin
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness
The first randomized trial evidence revealing the dangers of taking ibuprofen and aspirin together was recently released by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
The research suggests that the ibuprofen inhibits the blood thinning properties of aspirin, leaving patients at a reported nine-times higher risk of heart attack. The cardiovascular health of 18,523 patients who are over 50 years old and had osteoarthritis (which is why they were likely taking the ibuprofen) was reviewed by the researchers involved with this study.
The researchers concluded that doctors should seriously reconsider ever giving patients, who are at risk of cardiovascular problems, ibuprofen to deal with pain.

Regarding getting the co-pay. That has happened to meat the time they thought i was have a small heart attack., and here i was really sick and in pain, and here comes this woman, with the rollcart computer to enter all myinsurance data, and collect the copay, i tried to tell her that my insurence pays 100percent when there is hospital and emergency room involved. anyway i tried to tell her that, she started arguing with me! My husband thank god just came in and boy was he mad! he really gave here a whatfor! come to find out their billing office or what ever they call in "their office" was having an incentive thing where they were suppose to collect all the copays, and existing due paymts, the employee would get an extra bonus in their checks, for doing a good job! Can you believe it? hospitals are terrible! they could care less if you live or die! it is just a business to them! and it is getting worse all the time. In our town, the county hospital takes all the people that do not have insurence in at the emergency room we dont have a clinic in the county, so if your kids has a cold, and needs medical attention you have to take him or her to the emegency room, not thedrs. or the clinic! emergency rooms are suppose to be for EMERGENCIES! not office visits! it is just unbelievable! jerryruthl from va
