Name: Chris Wilmont
Age: 34
Occupation: Claims Manager
How often do you exercise? Try to keep it between 4 to 6 times a week.
What type of exercise do you do? Mostly weights, but I incorporate cardio to ward off bad doctor visits.
What gets you to workout, even when you're feeling lazy? The inspiration to feel good after accomplishing something for a better me.
What's on your MP3 player? I do not have one. Looking to upgrade my phone so that I can have some portable music. Have purchased three iPods, but then gave them away as as gifts.
Favorite healthy food? Carrots
Favorite not-so-healthy food? Dried fruit (seems healthy but has a bunch of sugar)
Greatest fitness accomplishment? During the 2003 through 2006 Hurricane activity, I was working 12 plus hours a day. Once my storm duty was over, I had to move to another state. The stress of working, moving and life in general weighed on me (literally) and I gained weight that I was definitely unaccustomed to carrying. After getting back into shape, I scheduled an appointment for a check up. Although I was "in shape", I was not doing "healthy" things for my body. My blood pressure was escalated, my heart was not functioning optimally and I was no longer stretching as much. After getting this information, I decided to do something about it and convert my body to not only trying to look good, but get in the habit of feeling good too.
Best fitness advice? No matter how much time off between sessions (whether two days, two months or two years) it is always good to get back into it.
