Couple welcomes New Year's baby for the second year in a row
Having the first baby of the new year is pretty exciting. Have the first baby of the New Year two years in a row? That's a good way to get your name in the papers. A Pennsylvania couple celebrated their second New Year's baby in a row on January 1st. Both this and last year's babies were the first born in the New Year at their local hospital. Little Faith Lynn Armstrong was born at 5:32am this January 1, which means she now shares her birthday with her older sister, Kaden Skye Armstrong, who was born on the same day last year. It seems like this is becoming a New Year's Eve tradition for the Armstrong Family!
I have no idea what the odds are of this happening, but I'm guessing it's pretty unlikely.

obviously, "trick" has more than one meaning in that household on April Fool's Day!

That was intelligent as I don't know what. I suppose trick would be kind of ambiguous on April 1st for them. It's their favorite holiday, apparently. . .

Why would anyone want to do that? I think it is sad that those sisters now have to share a birthday all because their parents want 15 minutes of fame, why would you do that to your children, birthdays are suppose to be a special day for children, now they don't have that, really sad :-(

The family DID NOT plan this.... the second baby was born ten days late naturally. I believe the first one was born early and naturally. Why do people have to assume that it was planned for fame.

I think you're the one who needs to read more closely.
The article clearly stated the babies were the first born last year and this year at their "local hospital"
""Both this and last year's babies were the first born in the New Year at their local hospital.""

The New Years Baby was the first to be born. Anybody after that was born on the first. And cannot share the name.

That is amazing. Me and my ex sister-in-law gave birth on the same day to girls back in 1991, and we were both married to brothers that were identical twins.

what the heck!! She had a 3 month old and wanted to get PG AGAIN??? Maybe they should find another hobby. I could think of other things to want to be "first" at other than having 2 babies so close together!

I had my first 2 babies 15 months apart, then 3 years later and my 4th and 5th babies were 1 year, 2 weeks apart and i wouldn't have it any other way. Some of us love being a Mom and love having babies in the house. It was much easier having them close than the 3 year space, and they are much closer. Don't be so quick to criticize! Oh yea, not a stretch mark and still thin and have a career to boot!
