I've vowed that 2008 is going to be my healthiest year yet, and I know some of you have too. Sorting through all the resolutions, lists and tips can be overwhelming, so
the folks over at eDiets have made it real simple for you: They've put together a list of the three golden rules of good health. So if you can't keep up with any other resolutions, keep these ones:
- Choose water. Water is the best choice, better than soda, alcohol, juice, caffeine and so on. We know you won't only drink water this year, but try to make it your first choice more often than not.
- Limit or avoid appetizers and desserts. Most meals pack a calorie wallop already, and you're not helping by enjoying an appetizer before and a dessert after. Stick to just the meal.
- Schedule exercise. Exercise is as important as laundry, emptying the dishwasher and even going to work! Make sure to schedule it in, and make sure to do it.
What do you think? What's your golden rule of dieting?
