Severe psoriasis may raise risk of earlier death
Categories: Celebs & Entertainment
Psoriasis is a skin disease that affects millions worldwide. While not exactly dangerous, it can be annoying and very embarrassing. So much that many psoriasis sufferers are afraid to go out in public.Severe psoriasis can be extremely painful as well, and a new study reports that those with a severe form of the skin disease have a 50% increased risk of death compared to people without psoriasis.
If you have scratchy, scaly skin on your body and have not seen a dermatologist or doctor about it, now is a good time. Psoriasis can be controlled very easily with the right products (many natural ones as well), so today could be your day, if you choose to take action.

I have had psoriasis for 41 years and have seen many doctors. This is my experience: It is very difficult and expensive to treat. Some things will work for one person and not another, sometimes something will work one time but not the next time. I've been under intensive treatment and have almost cleared up and it flared up on me again. Even if it does clear up it will very likely return. Yes it has significantly impacted my life but I think it, like all other things God allows in my life, has worked and is working out for my good. I am a more compassionate, caring, understanding person because of it. Even so I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Anna
