ok, I am the most aggressive dieter ever but thanksgiving is a once a year holiday that I think dieting should not be considered on. It's a holiday based on eating (not historically, but now it is), and you can't celebrate it while focusing on what NOT to eat. Just make black friday another holiday called "work off thanksgiving dinner by shopping"

You should never diet on thanksgiving. It's base on eating as much as you want. Instead, I suggest making black friday a "let's work off the thanksgiving dinner" holiday.

I didn't recommend dieting, I recommended moderation. A day of 'giving thanks' is not meant as a day of reckless consumption. There will be more stuffing, gravy and pie available the rest of the year. It's always a great idea to 'pay attention'. Fitz
