A kinder, gentler tummy tuck?

Plastic surgery ... hmmm...what's your take on it? We've all heard the horror stories about people who have gone under the knife, only to later find themselves worse off than when they started. Then again, there are also plenty of success stories, with people finding great emotional comfort with their new physical self.
Nevertheless, where there is money to be made, there will always be an entrepreneur looking to improve upon existing standards and, of course, make a few bucks in the process. Such is the case with a new procedure called Lipoabdominoplasty; a surgery that combines the tummy tuck and liposuction, while supposedly offering less pain, swelling, bruising and downtime.
Evidently, the blood vessels in the nerves remain intact with this new procedure, whereas with the traditional tummy tuck, this was not the case.
I'm not really sure where I stand on the whole plastic surgery issue, so I'll leave the opining to you guys.

I don't like plastic surgery. I think it should only be done when some medical issue has arised or if there is just no other option. I think plastic surgery is just a huge lie that is permanently implanted (no pun intended) on a person. I mean, everything that it 'corrects' is just adding another lie to a person. I think minor things like botox is also pretty annoying. It doesn't make anyone look younger, it just makes people look bloated. I know, however, that plastic surgery is thing that's going to just get bigger and bigger with time. I think everyone should just eat right exercise and be happy with what they've got.
Although, I don't dental work falls into this category.

Hearing the latest news on this subject, Keyna West's mother just passed away due to the very same procedure, I wonder if it's worth it. I'm concerned that women think they have to fit into some sort of mold to feel confident about there bodies. Wy is there so much pressure to look like a Barbie Doll?
