Those last 5 pounds are the hardest to lose, aren't they? If your scale seems to be stuck, despite the fact that you eat right and exercise every day, there are a few small, subtle changes you can make to finally hit that weight loss goal.

It's hard to gain weight when you load up on fruits and vegetables, but it isn't hard to overeat other types of nutritious foods. If you aren't counting calories, you still may be getting more than you need. MSNBC recommends that you use a calorie calculator to figure out how many calories you should be eating every day (don't forget to consider the calories burned in your workout) and then divvy them up between 5-6 meals and snacks. Once you're done, you're done.

They've got four more small changes you can make, including adding interval training to your workout, looking up the nutritional information of fast food choices ahead of time (even if they sound healthy), and eliminating diet foods from your menu. Before you know it, those last 5 pounds really will be gone and you can celebrate reaching your goal!
