Obese kids who watch TV have higher blood pressure

Big surprise this week, as a new study concluded that watching large amounts of television can increase blood pressure in kids.

While the American Academy of Pediatrics does not suggest television at all for those under the age of two, it suggested limitations to television time to all parents. I couldn't agree more.

While many use television as a babysitter, interacting with your child is much more rewarding, even though it can be exasperating at times and frustrating at others. That's part of parenting, even after a long day at work.
