Trading iPods

Yes, my iPod playlist is still as stale as a three-week-old loaf of bread, but I'm admittedly quite resistant to change. But, enough is enough by this point. Personally, I know things have gotten bad when I not only know what song is coming next without having to look, but I also know what three songs will play after that!

It's too bad there isn't anything for gym playlists that works in a similar fashion to those home remodeling TV shows. You know, like Trading Spaces and others like it. Why can't my neighbor, or maybe even just a fellow gym member, take my iPod, and at the same time I take theirs. We would then change the entire playlist on the other person's iPod, only to give it back to them the following day when you see them at the gym.

Were such a stupid (oh yes, I do realize how stupid of an idea this is) TV show to exist -- and, were I to be a contestant, I might have to load up my gym buddy's iPod with the following tracks:

1 - U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday

2 - Muse - Stockholm Syndrome

3 - Pearl Jam - Animal

4 - Rage Against the Machine - Freedom

5 - Oasis - Do Ya' Know What I Mean?

6 - Ash - Goldfinger

7 - The Beatles - Helter Skelter

8 - Eric B. & Rakim - Don't Sweat the Technique

9 - Beastie Boys - Gratitude

10 - Radiohead - Paranoid Android
