Stay warm during your cool weather workouts

Though the days are still pretty moderate around here, when I got up before daybreak this morning to take a walk, it was cold. The late fall weather has definitely set in. Though lower temperatures and humidity can make exercising outdoors a little more comfortable, as the mercury drops, it's time to think about changing the way you dress for your workout.
Layering is the way to go in cooler weather, and eDiets has a step-by-step guide for dressing yourself from your inner layer out. Once you've gotten your clothing situated, you can add items like headgear, gloves, sunglasses, and socks to complete your weather-friendly outfit. Leave your street clothes and anything cotton at home; these items will just soak up your sweat and the freeze, leaving you shivering -- not the best way to burn calories.
