Hungover? Do you use food to feel better?
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss
I try to avoid fast food at all costs, but after my birthday celebration last week, I found myself a bit under the weather the next day. Ok, really under the weather. So I sent Jon out to grab me something -- anything -- from the nearest fast food joint, because it's common knowledge in my social circle that greasy food is the best cure for the day after a big night.
I'm not alone -- greasy fast food is the main choice of people feeling under the weather due to their own accord, according to this article from eDiets. But while greasy foods might help you keep from getting too drunk if you consume them the night before, I'm not so sure they're all that helpful the next day -- what do you think? What do you do for a hangover?

Usually gatorade endurance formula gets the job done for me. If that doesn't work... look for store brand anti-nausea syrup, its basically a sugar syrup, with phosphoric acid added. (three ingredients, glucose, fructose, and phosphorica acid). Its served me well...

Greasy food definitely helps cure a bad hangover. Those mornings that I feel like I was run over by a truck are eased with bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. yeah, it's a bazillion calories and fat, but I already overdid myself the night before.

For quick relief try an ice cold pint of beer with a raw egg sitting down at the bottom of the glass. Proceed to drink most of the beer and, when nearing the bottom of the glass, drink the whole egg with the remaining beer. You will feel the yolk break in your stomach about 15 minutes later. Try this a second time, if necessary, and you will achieve amazing results !!!!!!!

THC is the best cure known to man. There is a reason that chemo. patients use it for nausea and to stimulate appetite. THC first, water, and food next and your on the road to recovery.

Tom, is that because it makes your throw up when you drink it? Haha just kidding. Sounds gross but maybe worth a try ... ?
And thanks everyone for sharing your cures. Great feedback.
