Actually, I think most health experts are recommending chocolate, especially the dark kind, more and more often.
It's full of anti-oxidants, hooray!
A hundred calories might be handy, but it's a bit arbitrary. Get the good stuff, enjoy it in something resembling moderation, and don't drive yourself crazy counting bites!

antioxidants...weight watches......obviously just a bunch of fat people reading this blog looking for some excuse to go eat a candy bar....seriously people.....its a candy bar...nothing even remotely good or healthy about it...and unless your exercising reguarly and eating well otherwise i would avoid even a bite of any of this otherwise....and by the way...im a 3rd year med student and you can find some quack doctor out there to justify about anything unhealthy you are looking to justify doing in your life....so please stop quoting "doctors" who tell you to eat chocolate and get on the treadmil already.
Raw cacao beans (peeled or pulverized into powder) is the latest evolvement. See David Wolfe's book, Raw Chocolate www.rawfood.com/cacao.html and read about the nutritional benefits, at least in the books description. For any third-year med students who doubt it, hold off until your fourth year, when they obviously teach endocrinology. Cheers. And you CAN have your chocolate and leave the calories, too! RAW CHOCOLATE!
That's "Naked Chocolate," sorry! Tantalizing recipes.

There is a healty chocolate called Xocai. It's cold proccessed and there is no added sugar. It has many health benefits. As for me it gave me more energy and my restless legs have gone away except for an occasional slight annoyance once in a while. I also sleep better.
For further info go to www.thechocolatecd.com then if your interested in finding out how to get some go to http://mxi.myvoffice.com/shirleyshealthquest/ What do you have to loose, it taste great and for each person it has different benefits. My sister has fibromyalgia and she is virtually pain free besides she has also lost some weight. My husband has had canker sores ever since he was small child. He had them almost at least for 2 weeks at a time every month, he has the scars to prove it. Since starting the Xocai in June, he has had only 2 canker sores and they didn't last very long or weren't as painful.
