Sometimes it's not just a cold that's affecting your sinuses -- Sinusitis is a condition in which the sinus tissue is infected and/or inflamed and it can cause immense pain and suffering if it afflicts you. How do you know if it's sinusitis? The best way to find out is by visiting your doctor, but here are some clues:
  • You wake up with a headache
  • Touching your forehead is painful
  • Your eyes become swollen and painful in the middle
  • You have earaches and neck pain
  • You have a sore throat, from the postnasal drip
  • You have a persistent cough that may get worse at night.
  • Other signs include fever, congestion, weakness and fatigue.
If you think you might have sinusitis, see your doctor -- you'll feel much better once treated.
