Another report says calorie restriction gives longer life

I've read off and on regarding the issue of caloric restriction and its effect on human longevity. There is more evidence than not that limiting daily calorie intake can lead to a longer life, and some scientists say they have proven that theory.

While starving yourself is not a good option, finding a comfortable level of calories to eat each and every day, tracking those calories very carefully for months until new habits develop and trying to shove aside decades of 3,000-calorie daily food intake memories can prove to be one of the hardest challenges most of us will ever face.

But, if you can find that level (say, 1,900 calories for many healthy adults) and make a permanent change, you very well may live to triple digits according to many scientists. Hopefully, processed and junk foods will be gone by then!
